Southerners on New Ground (SONG) is a home for LGBTQ liberation across all lines of race, class, abilities, age, culture, gender, and sexuality in the South. SONG works to create a sustainable South that embodies the best of its freedom traditions and works towards the transformation of our economic, social, spiritual, and political relationships. Occaneechi Homeland Project
The Occaneechi Homeland Preservation Project, founded in 2002, works toward buying back Occaneechi ancestral lands in Alamance County, North Carolina with the goal of creating economic development for the tribal community.
