What is in your candles?

  • Our custom coconut wax blend (coconut, soy, and palm wax)

  • Scented oil

  • Cotton wick

  • A little bit of beeswax to adhere the wick to the glass container

That’s it! We spent a lot of time finding a wax and wick that don’t include paraffin, which is used in most candles on the market and a product of the oil industry.

Why the name eno flora?

Our name reflects our place and our philosophy. Eno for the Eno River in Durham, where we are located, named for the Indigenous People who lived on this land before it was stolen from them. Flora because our scents are verdant and bright, inspired by nature.

How do I burn my candle safely?

Trim the wick to one quarter inch before every burn to keep the wick from popping and reduce smoking. Each time you use your candle, try to let it burn for at least two hours but do not let it burn for more than four hours at a time. Stop using when there is one quarter inch of wax left in the tumbler. Keep away from pets and children. Do not burn near anything or on surfaces that can catch fire. Learn more about candle care.

Why is my candle tunneling?

With our coconut wax and cotton wicks, you might notice some wax remaining on the sides as you burn the candle. Don’t worry, it will eventually melt as it burns down. It helps to burn the candle for three to four hours at a time. We spent a lot of time testing different waxes and wicks ultimately landing on a softer, but more sustainable, coconut wax and a plastic-free wick that minimizes smoke. This means that our candle may burn a little differently from other candles.

What is your return policy?

If there is something wrong with your candle or it arrives damaged, let us know within 15 days of your order by sending a photo and your order number to hello@enofloracandle.com and we’ll be happy to process a refund or send you a new candle.

Can you provide more details about shipping?

We offer free shipping for orders of 2 or more candles within the U.S. (all 50 states). For now, we do not ship internationally. We try to send orders out within 1-2 business days of your order. We do everything we can to get you your order in 5-7 business days. We do not currently offer expedited shipping.
